CAFAA needs your ideas and your energy. CAFAA advances the financial aid profession in order to be the primary source in Colorado for information and guidance regarding the financing of student higher education. Below is a short description of the CAFAA committees and the work they do. It would be wonderful if every CAFAA member did just one thing to help the organization. If you haven’t ever volunteered before but thought it might be fun, this is your opportunity. If you have been volunteering a lot over the years, please consider continuing. You know that with your help CAFAA can continue to represent all of us.

Diversity Issues Committee

Promotes diversity, both within the membership of the organization and on campuses, through a variety of activities and training opportunities.

Financial Aid Awareness

Promotes understanding and information about financial aid eligibility.

Professional Development Committee

Develops a variety of training opportunities for CAFAA members designed to improve our knowledge of financial aid issues.

Conference Committee

Dedicated to providing the very best conferences for CAFAA. They plan the agenda, locate speakers, and make the conference happen.

CRIER Committee

Responsible for editing and printing the CRIER newsletter which serves an information forum for CAFAA.

Technology Committee

To enhance communication among the CAFAA membership through technology and to maintain the CAFAA Website and CAFAA Listserv.

Membership Committee

Maintain membership records for the association.
