PRECONFERENCE Proposal Form 2008
November 6-8, 2008 -- Denver, Colorado
Preconference date: November 6 (Thursday), 2008

Instructions:

The form must be completed in full. Any proposals submitted that are not completely filled in will not be considered.
This form is only for PRECONFERENCE workshops -- not 50-minute program sessions. If you would like to have your proposal considered for a PRECONFERENCE on Thursday, use this form. If you'd like to propose a workshop session for Friday or Saturday at conference, please use the workshop proposal form.
Proposals must be submitted online only by the established deadline (Friday, May 23). Only submissions through this Web page are accepted and considered.
Pre-conference Workshops are scheduled for half or full-day sessions (3 hours or 6 hours).
All presenters will be required to sign and submit a speaker's agreement (which will be sent upon acceptance of your program).
Notifications will take place in June. Please use contact info that will be valid for you in June and July.

The Colorado Association of Libraries is pleased to offer our speakers a discount on their conference attendance. If your program is selected, this information will be sent to you.

AV/Equipment

Please indicate the AV/equipment you will need for your presentation.

Note: We are unable to provide computers for your presentation; if you need a computer for your presentation, please bring your own.

If your presentation is selected and requires additional or special equipment not listed here, you may provide it yourself or make arrangements with the hotel AV department at your expense.

Submitting Your Proposal

Once you click "Submit" and your proposal is received, you will receive a message that says "Thank you for submitting your preconference proposal for the CAL Conference." If you receive that message, your proposal has been received. You will receive no other notification.

You will be notified whether your preconference is accepted or not, as soon as those decisions are made in mid-June. Notification will take place mid-June through early July.

You will receive an emailed copy of the form you submit. Please indicate which email address you'd like the copy sent to. Please keep a copy of it for your records and proof of submission.
