You are invited to the 50th year Vail Ski & Snowboard School Reunion.  This will be a great event to celebrate our history & culture.  Take the opportunity to reconnect with current staff and former coworkers. Enjoy an opportunity to mingle and ski or ride with some awesome people – past and current directors, managers, trainers, supervisors, instructors as well as National & Vail Demo Team members. 

We are very proud of our School’s heritage over the last 50 years.

This gathering is in conjunction with Vail’s community-wide 50th Anniversary celebration.

The event is made possible by the generous contributions of Vail Resorts, Inc. and the Vail Ski and Snowboard School.

All current and former employees in good standing are encouraged to join us for this event.  This includes all levels of management, instructors and support staff.  We especially want to recognize all the indoor staff that have helped make our School great.

Vail Snow Daze runs December 10-15. Enjoy the free concerts and other activities. The Ski and Snowboard Reunion is held in conjunction with Vail's 50th Anniversary Celebration.

Lift Tickets

All qualified alumni may enjoy $60 tickets for themselves.

Special price ticket options:

one day only for 12/09/12
OR
two days 12/08-09/12  

Reservations for the discounted lift tickets can only be made via the advance registration process.

The discounted ticket will be paid for at the ticket window.

Tickets can be picked up at the Vail Village Adult Ski and Snowboard School desk between 8:30am and 10am Saturday or Sunday.

 

Equipment Rental

We have arranged for a 50% discount on equipment rentals from the retail division of Vail Resorts. Vail Sports is generously offering all alumni and their families ½ price on equipment rentals and tunes. Go to the link below and identify yourself as part of the 50th Year Reunion to reserve your rentals for the weekend or Sunday only. We recommend that you pick up your equipment or get your tune-up the evening before you go on the mountain.

We have arranged discounts at several hotels that reflect a variety of venues and prices. There are lodging options to stay for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights (or any combination). Contact the property that best suits your needs.

50th Year Celebration

The main event will be on Sunday afternoon at The Lodge at Vail in Vail Village. It will start at 3:30 and end at 7:00. The cost will be $37 per person. Guests are invited. Included will be two drink coupons and great appetizers.

Deadline for registration is November 25, 2012
Internet registration for this event has ended. To attend the event please contact John Kirschner at (970) 476-0550. We look forward to seeing you on the 9th.

*Discounted lift ticket(s) are offered for Vail Ski School alumni only and are only valid the weekend of December 8-9, 2012.
*Those that do not pre-register for the skiing event are not guaranteed inclusion in a group.


No refunds will be given for cancellations made after November 25.
You will receive a receipt via email when your charge is approved.

A signed liability waiver will be required for all participants in the ski/snowboard day. Waivers will be distributed on the morning of the event.
