Call for Proposals

Procedure
NOTE:  There are two primary parts to the application:  the session application details and a blind proposal.  You may want to prepare the blind proposal first, then come back to the form to complete the other portions of the form and paste the blind proposal into the appropriate field.

  1. Review the Blind Proposal Requirements (below).  The proposal should be no longer than 2,500 words.  You may either compose this portion directly in the appropriate field (near the bottom of the form), or compose it in Word and cut and paste it into the field.
  2. Complete the remaining parts of the Session Application form.

Blind Proposal Requirements
Presentations should address timely, relevant topics.  Professor participants are encouraged to present with a practitioner student.  The blind proposal must include the following:

  • An overview of the presentation
  • The concept/ideas to be discussed
  • Context as discussed in the literature
  • Structure of participant interaction
  • Outline of questions to be addressed
  • Implications for the profession
General Session Requirements

  • If you leave the application in the middle of completion by closing your browser or going to another Web site, you will have to start the application process again.
