General Directions
Thank you for your interest in running for an AAPA Board of Directors position in the 2018 General Election. Academy bylaws delineate two avenues an individual may pursue to be placed on the AAPA Board of Directors election ballot: endorsement by the Nominating Work Group or self-declaration.
 
NEW - This year the application process has been broken down into two parts: 
 
1. This form containing your general information, qualifying leadership experiences, platform statement, and references.
 
2. Upon completion of this form, you will receive the application questions in a Word document that were previously a part of this form.
 
ALL information (including 3 letters of recommendation) must be received by February 23, 2018.

On-line Form Instructions and Tips:
You have the option of creating a login name and password so that you can return to the application and complete it at a later date. If you do NOT create a login, you must complete the whole application in one sitting in order to not lose your information.
 
A few tips:
- You may want to type your answers in a Word document and copy and paste them into the form.
- The form does not have grammar or spell check.
- Formatting is not maintained once added to the online form.
- Some fields only allow you to see a portion of your answer.
- If you wish to print the form, you cannot print the form in its entirety. Each page must be printed individually.
