Formsite’s payment integrations allow form owners to collect credit card payments with their online forms. Our Stripe integration is a popular way for form owners to collect payments online from credit cards. In addition to credit cards, Stripe payment methods includes support for other global processors.
These extra settings allow for methods and currencies not supported by the default integration. Targeted primarily to European customers, these settings enable electronic transfers and/or specific regions and banks.
Stripe Payment Methods
Stripe account holders can see the payment methods in their Stripe account under Settings -> Payment Methods. The optional payment methods offered by Stripe and supported by Formsite include:
Alipay is a popular digital wallet in China, operated by Ant Financial Services Group, a financial services provider affiliated with Alibaba.
Bancontact is the most popular online payment method in Belgium, with over 15 million cards in circulation.
EPS is an Austria-based payment method that allows customers to complete transactions online using their bank credentials.
Giropay is a German payment method based on online banking, introduced in 2006.
iDEAL is a Netherlands-based payment method that allows customers to complete transactions online using their bank credentials.
SEPA Direct Debit
The Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) is an initiative of the European Union to simplify payments within and across member countries.
Google Pay and Apple Pay
Stripe also supports mobile payment options for Google Pay and Apple Pay if the browser or device is set up to use them. For example, if I complete an order form using a mobile device with Google Pay settings, the checkout page automatically offers it.
Form owners can enable the Google Pay and Apple Pay options in the Stripe account under Settings -> Checkout Settings.
