In addition, Formsite has published template updates to apply the new colors and theme settings to all templates.
A sometimes-overlooked part of the form building process is the styling of the form itself. Many form owners use the default style and make great successful forms. Other form owners have previous styles they apply to new forms by either copying an old form or copying the style settings. Many form owners ask about using Formsite with mobile devices for building and completing forms. Formsite is working on optimizing the mobile form editor to make building and editing online forms easier for mobile users. Our forms work with mobile and desktop browsers through ‘responsive’ code. Mobile responsive pages means the styles display based on the size of the browser window.
Formsite online forms collect answers in form submissions in the forms’ Results Table. Every new submission is a new result and every result gets a status. The built-in Status column shows complete, incomplete, alerts and more. Form owners can create custom status columns for results using Admin items, too.
As part of our Sub-users enhancement, the Results Search now accommodates Limited Sub-users. Sub-user permissions are set to either Admin or Limited, and Limited Sub-users have specific forms they can access. This new enhancement gives all Sub-users the ability to access the Results Search page.
Formsite developers have recently added several enhancements to make working with Sub-users easier. Creating Sub-users, assigning permissions, and managing access becomes difficult with more forms. The most recent enhancement is the ability to see Sub-user access for each form in the My Forms list.
Creating and maintaining Sub-users occurs through the User menu -> Sub-users page. An earlier upgrade added the way to invite Sub-users, creating the email record and verifying the accurate email address.
